You won’t just manage features. You’ll lead the product, guide the engineering direction, and shape the experience of thousands of users. And because this position is mission-critical, you’ll also receive Stock Appreciation Rights: you’re not just building the product, you’re building your own upside.

What you’ll be doing

You’re part Product Lead, part hands-on tech builder, part “give me the repo, I’ll fix it.”

You will:

• Set the product vision and timelines for one or multiple product areas.
  
• Oversee development and ensure the HerFuture app aligns with company strategy.
  
• Jump into backend or frontend code when needed: you MUST be a strong coder.
  
• Create tickets, stories, and manage sprints in Jira like a boss.
  
• Review merge requests on GitLab with a ruthless eye for detail.
  
• Delegate tasks, prioritise ruthlessly, and keep the roadmap clear and focused.
  
• Obsess over the user journey and constantly find creative ways to elevate it.
  
• Turn vague ideas into crisp, user-centred features.
  
• Protect our app like a fortress: security-first thinking is in your DNA.
  
• Balance big-picture vision with hands-on building (you can zoom in and out like a pro).
  
• Move fast. We ship weekly, we break barriers, not spirits.

Who you are

• You can code exceptionally well. Seriously. If you can’t code, this isn’t your role. It doesn’t matter which programming language you code in. If you’re a smart cookie, you’ll learn our stack in no time.
• You’re a builder at heart: you dream in architecture diagrams and wake up thinking about user flows.
• Your attention to detail is borderline scary (in a good way). Spelling mistake? Padding issue? Misaligned button? You see it before anyone else.
• You think strategically, but you’re also willing to roll up your sleeves and get things done.
• You understand security, scalability, and how to make good trade-offs.
• You’re energised by fast growth, ambitious goals, and big missions.

09:00 — Daily team standup. Quick, sharp, aligned.
09:30 — Weekly catch-up with the founders about product vision & roadmap
11:00 — Review merge requests. Hunt down bugs like you’re on safari.
12:00 — Lunch & life chats with the team.
13:00 — Sprint review. Are we on track? Are we dreaming big enough?
14:00 — Random marketing brainstorm with the team. Throw your wildest ideas on the table.
15:00 — Coding time, architecture thinking, or a call with a client to hear how they’re loving (or breaking) the app.
16:00 — Cake to celebrate our Nth milestone. Expect lots and lots of it, because we keep on achieving new heights,
16:30 — Weekly demo of the new release
